As a production knitting intern for AddyKnits (a Chicago-based knitwear designer), I operate in my home studio in close connection with the designer to create high-quality knit apparel. Day-to-day, I ensure precision in following unique patterns, product quality, and push my understanding of knitwear production by continuously trying new techniques to make a cleaner, better garment. This role has overall enhanced my skills in knitting techniques, quality control, efficient production practices, and my love for sustainable, handmade clothing.

As a lab tech, one must be able to teach new students how to use the machines and assist with project. Along with cleaning and keeping up with maintenance.

As an activity coordinator in the hospital/extended care unit of the senior home, my job is to engage with the residents through activities (arts and crafts, etc.) and alleviate any high-stress situations (i.e. sundowning, falls, etc.). As the residents reach the end of their stories, my job is to keep them company and spirits high.
