With over 30 years of film and television production experience, CEO and Executive Producer, Mary E. Glynn continues to break new ground in the entertainment industry. Her diverse career covers a wide spectrum of genres from feature film and television production to talk-show, documentary and reality television writing, producing and directing. In 2020, she founded and launched a new culturally-oriented, streaming platform, ScreenPopTV Network, and has focused her career on building the network brand.She began her career in 1992 with Academy-Award nominated director John Singleton while attending college at UCLA. She provided production support on two of his groundbreaking projects: “Poetic Justice”, starring pop superstar Janet Jackson and Tupac Shakur and “Higher Learning”, featuring Academy-Award nominated actor, Laurence Fishburne. After college, Mary segued into television movies and mini-series as a development executive for Citadel Entertainment. There, she developed projects for the critically acclaimed production company and served as the Director of Development for Emmy Award Winning actress Sela Ward.Ms. Glynn has produced projects for some of the biggest networks in the country including: MTV, VH1, Lifetime, A&E, MSNBC, BET, Discovery, The History Channel & Discovery.
