I am responsible for the strategic planning and production of 8-10 major fundraising events annually for national and local non-profit organizations. In this role I develop and implement tailored event fundraising campaigns and manage all aspects of planning logistics including the creation and execution of project timelines, budgeting, vendors, and event donor relations. Additionally I direct event communication for and on behalf of clients and event leadership. I also serve as the primary point of contact on event days, overseeing set-up and breakdown, managing all event participants, vendors, and the stage program.

Supervised and evaluated the field work of graduate students in the Teaching of English program.

From 2002-2009, I taught middle and high school English in New York City and State public schools. During these seven years, I managed classroom activities on a daily basis, while holding leadership positions that required me to oversee and collaborate with other teachers to create new school wide policies and initiatives, and work with community-based organizations to provide services in the schools.

In this role I managed stages of the U.S. marketing Campaign by representing the Press at education conferences and overseeing the textbook adoption process in secondary school districts nationwide. I also managed all business and publicity event for the New York office.
