Study on Refugee Led Organisations in Uganda focusing on their nature, perceived impact and factors that influence their response to their communities.

Feedback platform by Alight Uganda created to improve communication and service delivery between refugee community and Aid partners. I led the recruitment, onboarding and employee training and development. I supported over 40 staff collect data and deliver insights from 6 refugee settlements in Uganda. I collaborated with colleagues in Somalia, Rwanda and Mineapolis for global achievement of the organisational goals. I actively participated in the development of technology in the organisation leading to a successful live feedback platform that encourage effective communication between benefeciaries and Aid partners leading to prompt joint actions from both stakeholders.

I worked with the Community Technology Access Center as a computer literacy tutor for a month and identified low attendance from female students who faced various challenges ranging from cultural inhibitions to self doubt in their ability to learn as their male counterparts. I designed a female only class that was time friendly and allowed female students to learn without compromising their cultural or religious beliefs. The institution boasted of 150 graduands after 3 month. This was triple the number of female graduands there had been in the previous quarter. I recieved the Woman Warrior Award from the project.
