I was the editor of Facets magazine, Arts & Entertainment, Life & Leisure, Taste and Business Times. I also edited copy on the copy desk and wrote columns and stories for these sections.

Responsible for laying out and designing all internal/external publications for the Riverside Sheriffs’ Association including the All Points Bulletin (APB) monthly magazine, a 32-page publication; selected all computer equipment and software, and secured bids for monthly publication; managed freelance writers/photographers; proofread all content to be placed in publications; designed bi-annual newsletters for Benefits Trust office; wrote feature and news articles for the APB; oversaw and monitored all advertising content; responsible for setting up deadline schedule and making sure those deadlines were enforced; input several articles that appeared in monthly publication; worked in California office for 11 months before taking job as independent contractor for nearly three years.
