I have worked within the education field in one form or another most of my life. A great deal of my professional background includes working with students and families from diverse communities. I have also worked with student with unique abilities, volunteering/working in special education classrooms and with the Special Olympics. My time spent volunteering and tutoring began my passion for education. The teaching positions I select and the training sessions that I have attended reflect my desire to make a difference by ensuring all students have access to quality education. I am a member of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.
