Trainings provided to various client agencies including workplace violence and EEO investigations. Confidential EEO investigations conducted for various clients. Responsible for handling all aspects of federal and/or state employment litigation for various state agencies. Trial as well as appellate work is included in scope of experience. Extensive trial practice on employment related claims in state and federal court. Representation of law enforcement agencies including California Highway Patrol. Practice includes knowledge of current MOUs and working relationships with various union representatives.

Responsible for hearing and deciding personnel cases for employees of the State of California. Issued over 500 proposed decisions for State Personnel Board. Conducted hundreds of settlement negotiations. Issues covered wide range of human resource topics including discipline as well as civil rights claims. Territory covered Bakersfield, central coast, central valley and east through high sierras. Experience with numerous labor unions covering different bargaining units.
