I am optimizing existing products, resolving product design failures, and conducting simulations and analyses to evaluate their performance and reliability. I am also leading operations projects to increase quality and reduce cost through collaboration between research and development, product management, and operations. Additionally, as part of the Research and Development Group I work on applying product specifications and compliance, DFMEA development, product requalification, and material validations.

I worked on several cost-reduction projects at the level plant. As part of this challenge, I led projects on chemical replacement, raw material usage improvement, and environmental among others.

I was in charge of cable extrusion lines, responsible to overview the process requirements, recommend improvements to process/equipment and drive equipment robustness, ensure accurate documentation for incoming processes/products, Identify chronic issues and recommend corrective actions, New equipment validations. In my project on the performance improvement of PVC in extrusion, I contributed to the Corning's PVC global specification requirements to improve the supplier's material characteristics according to the capabilities of our extrusion process, identifying the root causes of severe manufacturing disruptions, and being recognized with the Operations Excellence Reward 2022.

I was responsible of ongoing projects for cost reduction, through components replacements, working directly with R&D, Procurement, Regulatory Affairs, and Marketing in USA, in charge of driving results in BD Reynosa Plant. As part of my daily activites I coordinated the Change Control Process including material disposition management and phase in/out, activities developed with purchase, planning, production, doc control and engineering departments. I work on daily basis ensuring project stay on track and communicate progress on weekly basis to project directors in USA and plant managment, throughout status reports and presentations. Additionally, I was in charge for the packaging project for several moths, managing the test required in Reynosa's plant to validate the replacement, developing Validation protocols in a teamwork with R&D. As part of my projects, I coordinated a Validation 's Engineer, Projects Engineers, and Technical writers.

I was responsible for new equipment acquisition, installation, and validation. I also worked on validation of raw materials, for replacement or new application into the actual process. I lead the process optimization projects in convolutes line working with process engineering, production, product management, and research, working globally across the company.

I worked under FDA regulations. I was responsible of different product cost reduction projects for the Resin Coating Laboratory and Photo-coating Process. I reported an overall saving of $100,000 USD during the fiscal year 2018.I also participated as a team member of the engineering group for KPI and CAPEX Projects. I led the chemical substitution on our process towards Carl Zeiss sustainability goal, Furtheremore, I participated in projects related to new photo coating equipment installation, and sutainability projects, replacing harmful chemicals for environmental and cost friendly substitutes. I supervised 9 laboratory technicians and 2 lab operators

During this experience I demonstrated the production of antioxidants for a novel source (A. protothecoides) presenting it feasible for Industrial production, eliminating the carbon-source cost associated with heterotrophic production, with an antioxidant content similar to the one reported with a high antioxidants producer, H. Pluvialis. I presented my research results as Speaker at 17th International Biotechnology Symposium and exhibition 2016, "Auxenochlorella Protothecoides as a source of lipids and antioxidant", October 2016. in Melbourne, Australia.I acquired the expertise in operation and light maintenance of G. Chromatographer, UV/Vis spectrophotometer, Photo-bioreactors, High-performance liquid Chromatographer (HPLC), light inverted microscope, among others.I maintained culture of algae on axenic conditions. I applied and improved experimental protocols focused on testing the productivity of algae strains, and posted in the laboratory protocols for other researchers application. I worked with a research team supervising and supporting student's research, with the application of statistical data analysis and experimental design. I lead experiments conduction and faced laboratory proving to solve. I learned to obtained microalgae compounds including lipids and carotenoids. I coordinated the environmental, health and safety training for 3 plants of Hyundai in Tijuana Area, to achieve OHSAS CERTIFICATION. Additionally, I was part of the team to review safety and work practices at the plant level, conduct incident investigations, perform compliance audits of facilities internal and external. Achievements: 3 plants OHSAS 18001 certification.

Responsible for safety orientation, safety training, and coaching all level employees and contractors on environmental, health an safety regulations such as OHSAS 18001, Mexican health, safety and environmental regulations of STPS, iso 14000. Remain current on amendments / updates to the Occupational Health and Safety laws and regulations, and make recommendations for their implementation. Provide recommendations for implementation of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives including the review and submit monthly HSEQ statistics to Plant Manager's. Represented the company on internal and external compliance audit and led environmental projects. Successfully completed re-certification of OHSAS 18001 2014 and audited the 14001-system compliance, Clean Industry follow up, STPS audits, SEMARNAT compliancy, contractors’ audits, and STPS employees training, and Ergonomy projects.

Participated in a team work to find solutions for environmental Projects for Mexicana de Cobre Mine, focus on Hazardous materials to complaint with SEMARNAT REQUIREMENTS. Process Control of Paint Department, WET PROCESS. Area: E-Coat, Phosphate, Sealer, Preparation and Primer.5`s application in the area, Process Control Sheets Management, constant review of Process Control Statistics to identify the opportunities areas for improvement, working as a team with body shop department, assembly department, stamp department, all those inclusive to keep the process flux, applying tools as DMAIC-Kaizen, Fish diagrams, DOE, and Six Sigma strategy, in order to reduce variation and waste. Clean room monitoring for the paint department.Application of Ergonomy in production lines on my charge, and participation as the leader from the paint department in Ergonomic Plant committee.Achievements: Run out decrease in fender area 75% less; Product change and supplier change in sealer area without negative effects; E-coat supplier change without negative effect in the process. Elimination of oxidization presented on the unit’s roof; Costs decrease in sealer area reusing material. Seal decrement fell in E-coat containers. Noise elimination in left door detected in the assembly department. Change in seal application to reduce the fall in the paint department.

I was responsible for the shift production in the automotive air filters, leading 50 operators and technicians in my area. I ensured that the production scheduling and production plans met the volume requirements agreed in the demand plan. I managed critical line issues and found the resolutions of critical product or equipment issues together with relevant internal teams. I worked under Automotive Industry regulations such as ISO 9001, Core Tools, ISO 14001, among others.
