I am passionate about helping NPs develop their potential as leaders and clinicians. An NP for over 35 years, much of my career has been devoted to leadership development and mentoring, academic and accredited education, nonprofit leadership, and NP workforce/practice research. In 2013, I created the Institute for NP Excellence (INPE, NPExcellence.com) to continue that work. I am active in a number of professional organizations,and honored to be the Immediate Past-Chair of the AANP Fellows (FAANP) program (2018-2019).
