I worked as a Speech/Language Pathologist in the school setting for 20 years, an elementary/middle school principal for six years and Supervisor of Special Education for 5 years. My career concentrated on issues related outcomes in school services and integrating the core curriculum into services for children with disabilities and engaging teachers and parents as partners. I have focused on developing future professional leaders, creating innovative solutions to school service delivery challenges, and fostering quality, efficacy, and efficiency to effective school-based therapy service delivery and special education practices .My training also focused on early language and literacy learning, advocacy, culturally responsive, and family centered partnerships and practices for young children and families from culturally, linguistically, ability diverse backgrounds, and Autism.
