I am the first impression when you call Houston Door Check, and it is my responsibility to ensure a completely satisfying experience throughout the repair/quote to final invoice. I am just a call, text or email away when the clients have questions. In the office, and under the tutelage of 2 masters in the commercial door industry, I am also being trained in estimating and quoting various size commercial jobs; from a quick daily service call repair to a full facility multi-day maintenance program.

It was my privilage to care for the great minds of tomorrow, while teaching them the most basic life skills, such as; eating, sleeping, and becoming mobile, and my newest adventure into PreK for the 22/23 school year! The biggest privilege is knowing I’m helping this group of kiddos whom I have mostly known since their infancy, now learn to read, write AND all the social emotional work needed that ensure they are the most well balanced heading off to Kindergarten.Using Teaching Strategies curriculum as well, I also introduce my students to a variety of experiences and lessons including literacy, motor skills, character development, the arts, sign language, and Spanish. I use the Teaching Strategies Platform to track each student’s growth and development throughout their preschool years by recording observations from their work, classroom behavior and personal achievements. As a lead teacher, it is my responsibility to mentor and train assistant teachers to follow, not only YMCA Children’s Academy protocol, but also all safety guidelines the State of Texas requires of our school.

I enrich young infant minds, as well as teach them to eat, nap, crawl, walk and even dance!!

I make the daily lives of my two year old friends fun and fabulous! Using the Teaching Strategies Gold method I use project based learning to enrich their little minds with month long investigations into various life subjects. I also teach them social skills like courtesy, respect, and friendship. (And of course, potty training!)
