My career started in 1996 when a prominent agent in Colorado Springs invited me to join her real estate team. She saw something in me that I didn’t. I was a happy mom with two boys looking for something more in my life. This agent saw immediately that I had the communication skills and negotiation skills to make a great Realtor. Who isn’t a great negotiator once you have kids?My love for people and my love for problem solving were a match made in heaven in real estate. Within a few short years I shot up and maintained the ranking of being within the top 15 brokers in the region and was averaging 21 million in sales per year. I owe so much of my success to the RE/MAX system.Along the way however, I paid a heavy price for working so hard for my clients that I had to take a step back and find myself which had become lost. I went on a journey of self discovery that brought me to owning a retreat center in Southwest Colorado. I learned about more about myself and more about people than I ever imagined. While that chapter of my life is closed the gifts it brought me are ones that I can once again bring to my real estate career and to all the hearts I touch. I am not the same person I was in 1996, but a better and more expande version of that same Realtor who loves to help people find just the right place to call home.
