Marketing Consultant Our company, Planspace Mining, has a huge limestone deposit covering 100 ha suitable for various applications. This reserve is located in the Mtoko communal lands in the Mudzi District, 43 km North- East of Kotwa centre.Production has, according to previous geological records been done with a total of 1 320 tonnes recorded to have been mined between 1974 – 1975. Generally the rock is coarsely- crystalline, dolomite rich marble occurring in the Rushinga Metamorphic Suite.Chemical Analysis undertaken by Anglo- American suggests that the deposit is suitable for applications in metallurgy, cement making, water treatment, agricultural lime etc. Currently we are mining the rock & processing it into calcitic agricultural lime.Basically, this is a highly accessible calcitic limestone deposit that exhibits long stretches of outcrop & very mineable.
