Have an understanding and awareness of current legislation with Early Years practice. Working with children 0-5 to support individual needs. Ensure quality standards across the nursery. Support staff in observation, assessment and planning. Maintain ratios across different age groups.Develop and maintain quality routines and learning environment. Role model exemplary practice and quality interactions with children. Challenge staff and support through 1:1's supervision and appraisals. Develop and review policy & procedures. Report to the manager and take lead role when manager is off site

Work directly with a key group of children. Providing a fun and challenging secure environment where children can learn. Work with different ages groups across age range 0-5. Build relationships with parents and share information and development reviews. Multi agency working. Attendance atcase conferences. Observation, assessment and planning. Maintaining high standards in children's case notes.
