During the COVID-19 shutdown period, I was retained by this family dental office to serve as a Receptionist and Scheduling Counselor. This was my first role back in office administration, since I switched gears to work in a series of Bar & Lounge Management and Bartending roles, between 2001-2020. Key Contributions:- Purchased software for HR department, administered pre- and post-employment testing, managed department budget, and maintained personnel records. - Conducted audit of annual vacation and benefit reports that resulted in $250K in reclaimed benefit cost budget.

During this 10-year stretch of my career, I performed as a paralegal, and researched, drafted, and prepared pleadings, correspondence, and settlement documents for commercial collection files. I also reviewed pre-litigation, cost, and collection account information. Key Contributions:- Organized calendars, handled A/P & A/R, updated general ledger for trust accounts, managed cases, prepared materials for pending cases, liaised with court personnel, and managed 200+ civil litigation files. - Developed and rolled-out legal procedures for bankruptcy filings, interviewed clients, and prepared bankruptcy petitions. - Gained strong familiarity with federal, district, and state court rules and procedures, including fast-track rules. - Purchased and maintained office equipment, and ensured smooth daily office operations.
