Responsible for the operations of 11 stores throughout the Northwest Chicago and Wisconsin markets. Duties include but are not limited to; Managing profit and loss statements, inventory control, recruiting, hiring, training, customer service, overall visual standards, implementing corporate initiatives, merchandise and store experience reports,- Multi-unit district Manager overseeing entire retail operation of 11 stores, 11 Store Managers, 35 Department Managers and over 360 associates throughout multiple states.- Supervised up to 22 stores during company restructure and eventual re-alignment. - Analyze individual market business trends to influence product allocation to maximize sales and customer service,- Manage multiple key performance indicators within allocated budgets.- Manage strategic succession planning to ensure business goals are achieved.- Partner with corporate leadership to implement and execute key initiatives.- Leverage strengths of those with different backgrounds, knowledge, styles, talents and perspectives to achieve sales objectives.- Strong focus on recruiting, training and developing all management levels to ensure the company objectives are understood and executed. - Further improved the customer experience by way of elevating visual presentation.- Two consecutive years of annual inventory result improvment.
