Conduct training sessions as part of the orientation process for new development-related staff to engage development officers and their staff with the database systems, procedures, and policies to enhance coordinated and strategic relationships with gift prospects and donors supporting IU at major gift levels.Monitor database entries on donor interactions by 120+ development staff and communicate individually with staff to enhance that data’s functionality in reporting and as historical documentation used in managing and maintaining these long-term philanthropic relationships.Review development officer requests for assignment to prospects/donors for complete information, provide coordination with other appropriate staff, and ensure accurate entry into the central database. I am a resource to development staff across all eight IU campuses to answer questions about Prospect Management procedures, documenting their donor interactions, and troubleshooting questions about the database interface. There is nothing more satisfying than helping these wonderfully professional colleagues.
