Recognized leader in Nursing Evidence Based practice, Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare 2007 and in 2012- my first year teaching in Florida I was elected to Who's Who by honors students, and in writing medical articles which followed the initial inclusion after initiating the emergency room nurse triage program at Massachusetts General Hospital. I have been a recent contributor in to Jacksonville, Florida NPR program on women's decreasing access to healthcare. Recently I have been recommended for 2020 TED on my time as a teen ager in nurses training at Bellevue Hospital in New York City.Currently I recouped revenue by successfully writing effective appeals, identifying trends, and root causes involving denials. I remedied losses in outpatient chemotherapy, identified wrong revenue codes on substance abuse treatment, and used the Newborn federal law for inpatient stays for deliveries, and recouped close to a million dollars. There are high losses in outpatient claims as well as low appeal amounts that need correction, Finally I am developing another funding stream for added revenues for the company.
