My professional career in financial services started in marketing at a top-notch credit union. If you know anything about credit unions, you know they are built on the premise of people helping people. And they’re not-for-profit, so that means staffing is lean and you wear ALL the hats. Business development, communications, customer (member) experience, project management, traditional and digital media…Spending over 20 years there allowed me to learn, practice and master executing multi-channel marketing campaigns, collaborating across teams to implement new products and to manage complex marketing projects. Not only was I the copywriter, content marketer and proofreader, but I oversaw designs, updated the web, crafted emails/eNews, and managed the paid media too. The members, their circumstances and their financial well-being have always been at the center of the experience. Taking on new challenges to grow my digital skills with my next organizations has built upon this foundation. It’s only natural that I expanded my skillset to include SEO and using data to recommend content to help our brand gain web visibility.
