MARY MOLONEYLecturer and Researcher in the Department of Civil, Structural and EnvironmentalEngineering, at Munster Technological University, Ireland, and a fellow of Engineers Ireland.Mary lectures on the Masters in Civil Engineering (Energy and Environment) and theMasters in Structural Engineering. Her research interests are primarily focused on:sustainable infrastructure development and delivery; Irish state infrastructuralinvestment across its productive networks; planning policy and its relationship withinfrastructure development; stakeholder engagement in infrastructure evaluation anddecision making; tax incentives and their impact on the construction sector; the IrishGhost Estate phenomenon and its impact on infrastructure delivery and sizing;infrastructure data availability and accessibility; and project management and delivery.Mary’s PhD, from University College Cork, was on the ‘Irish State infrastructuralinvestment: an analysis of past patterns, and an outline of a future Integrated Systems ofSystems evaluation methodology’.
