My contracts were for my expertise in training, dealership operations, systems and controls. I was retained by major automotive manufacturers to assess and revamp dealership operations in accounting. I implemented process and procedures that were instrumental in turning failed dealerships into profitable operations.To stay updated with evolving technology and procedures, I attended seminars in accounting, sales, customer relations and human resources. In 2001, I opened a training center (Automotive Consulting Training Center) that specialized in training and preparing Secretary/Treasurer candidates, Dealer and Dealership Staff Training for a career in the automotive industry. This enormously challenging and rewarding business venture, afforded me the opportunity to create a classroom curriculum for Ford Motor Company and Chrysler Corporation for training Controller/Business Managers. The following information listed will briefly highlight a few key components, to give you an idea of the class curriculum. Planned and structured an educational program that nurtured candidates to develop the tools for leadership/management techniques and analytical skills necessary to become a highly effective Controller/Office Manager Comprehensive computer-based training in dealership accounting procedures Coursework in management skills and technology Written assignments designed to provide practice and coincide with normal Controller work-flow Presentations explaining initiatives in support of dealership internal controls and operating procedures Coaching, nurturing & counseling employees, managing employee performance, process and customer concern resolution
