Sales Growth and Profitability • Analyzes, adjusts, and evaluates sales and financial information for use in growing and measuring the business • Identifies and shares opportunities, and implements plans related to increasing sales and profitability • Conducts research and shares information about local competition, as requested • Plans for and manages operating expenses to achieve budget, ensure quality operations, and the protection of assets (people, physical plant) • Plans for and manages the labor investment to deliver an exceptional customer experience, profitability, through selection, training, performance management, wage administration and scheduling • Ensures product mix and inventory levels are properly maintained to grow sales and maximize profitability • Executes store level Marketing plan to attract customers; ensures operations execution to earn repeat business, customer retention and loyalty Team Experience • Builds a high performing team through the use of behaviors and systems to positively impact staffing, capability and environment for team members • Staffing o Develops, executes and measures staff plans to deliver store results and build the promotional pool o Uses recruiting resources effectively to select staff based on defined competencies o Retains high performing staff through use of coaching systems and effective management practices
