As the Creative Director of Design for The Sims, I concept and create world-class design systems for franchise brands and titles that support all marketing and promotional campaigns inclusive of print, digital, motion, experiential, and environmental. Design Systems include brand imageries (key art), logos, typography, color, graphic elements, iconography, and motion-based solutions.Additionally, it is my responsibility to:- Oversee and participate in execution of live services content across owned and paid channels including web, retail, social, digital media, and events.- Present work and build alignment around design direction and execution with senior stakeholders.- Actively participate in multi-discipline collaboration or workshop sessions with the wider Marcom Creative team.- Partner with game team art directors and UI directors to create work that unifies the in-game and out-of-game experiences.- Inspire, lead, and direct internal designers and oversee the day-to-day work.- Help lead and creative direct our external agencies, keeping large-scale projects on track.- Create rules and guidance for each title’s brand style guide, brief partner teams on these rules, ensure consistency and quality benchmarks are met in execution.- Ability to interpret creative feedback and data into iterative design, while aligning the overall campaign narrative into every player touchpoint.- and most importantly, INSPIRE THE WORLD TO PLAY.

A partnership of WeWork and Bunker Labs, Veterans in Residence is a six-month startup incubator and leadership program that provides veteran and military family member entrepreneurs the community, business support, and workspace to help launch and grow their businesses. As a member of the Seattle Cohort, we supported and learned from one another, aided in reducing each other's business hurdles and shared experience and resources. I am proud to have been able to give back to the veterans that dedicated their time and lives to protect our nation.

At SVC, Mary teaches and helps to develop the final curriculum for the Portfolio class for the UI/Visual Design certificate program. She mentors students on design principles, making portfolio work stand out, and develop a self-branded identity. Additionally, she serves as a guest critic when needed.

Worked with a team of developers, videographers, photographers, project managers and designers to build unique brand and digital solutions for clients. Attended new business meetings, wrote and designed new business pitch presentations, created estimates for scope of work, wrote brand strategy documents, designed logos, print materials, digital experiences, and packaging.

Worked with a core group of creatives to pitch ideas for proposals, establish creative for new campaigns and clients, and extend out work in Healthcare, Hospitality, Non-profit and Commerce sectors.

Worked side-by-side with CCO, Alfred Muccino, to create graphics for Liquid Agency website, Agency merch, presentations for meetings and pro-bono projects.
