Mary Rinaldi is a proactive, methodical program manager that strives to promote team synergies to ensure smooth program development and execution. She does this by facilitating communication and engagement between her team members, identifying and utilizing the team’s strengths, and assigning tasks accordingly to promote team synergy. She welcomes constructive feedback so that she can continue to grow her technical, collaborative and leadership skills. She is proactive in her work and consistently seeks to learn and develop new skills and understandings. Starting as a system engineer in 2017, she developed skills in system requirements generation, hardware/software verification artifacts development, requirement traceability using Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS), change management practices using Dimensions, ClearCase/ClearQuest, CM21 and Jira, qualification testing, software/hardware troubleshooting in a lab environment, customer engagement, SDRL deliveries, IMS development, and program execution. Following an interest in project management and program execution, she moved into the role of a project engineer, where she continued to expand her skills in proposal development (RFI,RFQ), EVMS, program execution, conflict management, risk/opportunity management, and what it takes to make a project successful. She then moved into a Program Management position and is learning more of the business aspects to running a program including contracts, billing milestones, royalty payments, Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Asserting New Scope Costs to Customers and customer coordination. She has been learning how to manage larger program budgets and how to allocate funding to programs in accordance with product roadmap and alignment with business goals and priorities. In order to drive New Product Introduction (NPI), she has been managing and supporting development of core hardware and software for integration on multiple customer platforms. These core hardware and software products are then taken by customer platforms and customized into specific missionizations, with the support of the core program team. She has also been generating and maintaining individual program risk registers for each program to analyze technical and customer driven risks, evaluate impact to program cost and schedule and plan strategy to address or mitigate each program risk. On a monthly basis, she has presented high-level program technical and programmatic status to internal and external customers.
