● Provide leadership, strategy and compliance oversight of QMS programs.● Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders in the development of process, procedures and training programs to meet regulatory requirements.● Subject matter expert providing expertise to leadership and support through compliance reviews and internal audits. ● Leads inspection readiness preparations to ensure compliance with ISI 9001, CAP, FDA, and AABB● Identify and monitor non-conforming processes● Trend NCRs and CAPAs and conduct follow-ups on implemented corrective actions.● Supervise, mentor and train personnel in utilization of lab IT systems, regulatory and quality programs. ● Research and interprets standard compliance requirements● Author, review and approve QMS procedural documentation.● Utilize gap analysis to determine compliance discrepancy and actions for resolution.● Serving as system administrator for Document Control System.● Perform external audits at peer organizations● Manage occurrence reporting and investigating of performance improvement activities● Generate reports and presentation for hospital leadership

• Follow all standard operating procedures for collecting, analyzing, reporting and confidentiality to provide physicians with accurate, reliable, and timely results.• Responsible for general chemistry, hematology, coagulation, microbiology set up, and urinalysis.• Ensures proper operation of all instruments by performing required preventative daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly maintenance, necessary calibrations, and quality controls with troubleshooting as necessary.• Provide excellent customer service both in face to face situations as well as on the phone with patients and coworkers.• Identification of problems that may adversely affect test performance and correction of the problems encountered.
