Plans, organizes, monitors, and supervises daily activities of the laboratory classroom and staff. Maintaining attendance, developing a welcoming environment for parents/families, faculty, District ECE instructors and students. Parent meetings, administrative duties such as letters of recommendations, compiling information for Desired Results Developmental Profile and completing Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale. Ensuring curriculum is developmentally age appropriate, maintains a safe and clean environment, and attending professional development.

Responsibilities include directing, planning, and supervising allactivities and the center's employees. Bookkeeping, filing stateforms for financial assistance, and maintaining children'sconfidential records. Assisting parents and children insuccessfully transitioning from home to child care. Maintainingand establishing an appropriate learning environment byexamining behavioral needs and evaluating social andacademic growth. Plan and coordinate teachers, volunteers,aides, assistants, and parents in the classroom. Select andrequisition necessary materials, supplies, food, and equipment.Curriculum planning and assistance in other developmentalprograms.

Responsibilities include curriculum planning, parent/teacherconferences, substituting for teacher vacancies, supervisingteacher aids and children, recording attendance, maintainingpupil records and confidential information, recording DesiredResults Developmental Profiles, CLASS training, field tripchaperoning, caring for our school’s animals, landscapeplayground maintenance, supporting school philosophies anddaily parental communications.

Two half day preschool programs working with ages 2.5 to 3 years of age and 4/5 years of age. Responisbilities include curriculum planning, field trip chaperoning, supervising teacher aids and children, weekly newsletter, desgined classroom website, QRIS trainings, professional development hours, daily communication with parents, mainting pupil records.

Assisted meal preparation, providing a safe and nurturing environment, assisting with implementing lesson plans, decorating boards with artwork weekly, and maintaining a clean environment.
