I'm an experienced educational leader, who promotes a positive and caring working environment for staff and students. I have a jovial, upbeat personality - yet I'm very professional and dedicated. Following early retirement, I enjoyed my time at Southwestern College where I worked as a First Year Advisor, helping freshman college students succeed. I then became the middle school principal at The Independent Middle School. I decided to retire from school administration in 2019 and I'm currently enjoying some time off and looking for something "new". I’m enjoying my online job as an ESL teacher to Chinese and Turkish students, with subbing in between. My skill set includes: Educational leadership, Cognitive Coaching certification and experience, college advising, strong interpersonal skills, leadership & supervision, strong computer skills, organized & motivated to succeed.
