Hi! My name is Mary Slowik, I’m a second-year student at the University of Florida studying Industrial & Systems Engineering, with a passion for technology, system optimization, and solving complex problems.As an Industrial & Systems Engineering major with a Computer Science minor, I’ve developed skills to analyze and improve systems from a technical perspective. During my study abroad experience in Lille, France, I learned how to embrace challenges, adapt to new environments, and work with students from over 40 countries.On campus, I’m actively involved in many roles that have strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills. These include my committee involvement in FLEG, Director of Finance for UF SwampHacks, and Outreach Director for the IoT Students Club. Additionally, my participation in undergraduate research has allowed me to engage in hands-on technical projects.I'm excited to apply my knowledge in industrial and systems engineering and computer science to impactful projects in manufacturing, supply chain, and technology. I’m always looking to learn and grow!
