In this position, I was responsible for the weekly production of the UNK student newspaper. This involves such duties as:- Designed layouts in InDesign- Managed editorial, advertising, distribution, and writing staff- Supervised all editing and design- Coordinated with managing faculty members- Created budget for staff members- Helped student writers with ideas and follow-through

In this role, I worked closely with the writing staff to create and edit quality content for UNK's campus newspaper, the Antelope. Some details of my role were:- Editing student writers' work in AP style - Editing for content in a way that preserves the original author's style- Reviewing designed pages during layout production- Created guidelines for students to follow- Wrote stylebook for future editors and staff to use

This program works within the University system to teach stringed instruments to students in grades 1-8. As an Assistant Teacher, my roles included:- Writing and executing lesson plans- Communicating with parents- Taking attendance - Directing concerts- Organizing details regarding lesson changes, concert creation, and post-concert celebrations- Teaching one-on-one lessons to students who were struggling in the group classes

I started at the Buckle as a part time sales associate in June of 2012, fresh out of high school. In my time there, I worked my way through the Leadership Training Program and ended as a Team Leader. Some of my responsibilities included:- Maintaining my personal sales- Assisting junior sales team members with their sales- Managing Buckle Credit Card applications- Managing the Guest Loyalty program- Supervised and executed closing and opening duties

This Internship took place concurrently with my work as a Sales Associate for the same company. Some of my duties included:- Monitoring shipments to ensure accuracy- Documenting samples sent by manufacturers- Performing quality assurance measures on samples- Organizing samples
