This role involved the implementation of engaging and informative training to over 250 employees. Focused on a range of Microsoft Office training from basic to advanced level as well as consultation regarding SAP; training was delivered through focused group sessions. I worked alongside seniority at Procter & Gamble in order to clarify training strategy and defining the skill inventory across P&G’s employee base; allowing for maximal upskilling and a synergetic relationship between training and management. In terms of teaching style, I focused on developing each group’s competencies individually, whilst identifying weaknesses and so undertaking a cognitive approach to the necessities of each group.

In this role I was responsible for the preparation of standard costs for all products and upload of same to SAP on an annual basis, ensuring Bills of Materials (BOM), Recipes, Resources, Quotas and Costs were set up for new and existing products. Worked on preparation of materials, labour and overhead variances analysis on a monthly basis analyzing manufacturing related period cost variances including PPV, Obsolescence, Freight, Scrap and Sale of InventoryActed as financial Leader for all contract manufacturing requests and was an active member of the team responsible for delivering of in-house savings projects. Also responsible for supporting the plant Finance Manager in analysis of plant costs including cost savings opportunities, investment appraisal, new brand initiatives and major plant projects. Providing end-to-end business process guidance and solution definition for the configuration and gap development on SAP, with a focus on FICO and related modules Liaised with plant, purchasing, engineering to identify opportunities and quantify savings potential.

I was accountable for recording the cost of newly-acquired fixed assets (both tangible and intangible), tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets. Track the compilation of project costs into fixed asset accounts, and close out those accounts once the related projects have been completed. Investigate the potential obsolescence of fixed assets.
