I'm passionate about making healthcare more efficient and accessible. As an Operations Manager at Sanguine Biosciences, I am doing just that by accelerating the translational research process. Specifically, I manage phlebotomists who perform in-home visits with patient participants, giving researchers unparalleled access to vital samples. This role requires extreme attention to detail, organization, technical knowledge, and managerial skills. I have honed these skills to such a degree that I've been promoted twice in less than two years!I earned both a Masters and Undergraduate degree from Penn State University. As a Masters of Management and Organizational Leadership student, I gained skills in virtually every field of business including finance, accounting, marketing, supply chain, management, and communications. For my undergraduate degree, I made it a priority to gain a well-rounded understanding of the healthcare industry. I majored in Biobehavioral Health and double-minored in Health Policy and Administration as well as Bioethics and Medical Humanities. Through these interdisciplinary courses of study, I learned about biological, psychological, and social drivers of health and how to improve them for all populations. Some of my passions include travelling, hiking, skiing, listening to music, and spending time with family. I have very strong interpersonal skills and am an extraordinarily fast learner. I'm motivated by my intense desire to solve problems, especially problems that have a global effect, such as environmental issues and global health disparities.
