November 2009 – Resin Based Packaging ComponentsResponsibilities:• Strategic sourcing and category management for bottle and closure packaging components supporting all Consumer and OTC business• Deliver cost reductions and mitigate cost inflation for resin feedstock components due to volatile economic conditions• Evaluate supply base to continually benchmark and negotiate best-in-class supplyMay 2007 – November 2009, Paper Based Packaging ComponentsResponsibilities:• Strategic sourcing and category management for printed paper based components supporting McNeil business• Drive and deliver supplier continuous improvement projects that align with strategic objectives for cost reduction and growth through spec optimization, LEAN processes, and negotiation• Lead supplier transitions by taking prudent risks to deliver greatest value to organization

Responsibilities:• Outsourcing RFx's to support plant product rationalization and risk mitigation • Manage Pharmaceutical Excipient portfolio (approximate annual spend of $900M) • Negotiate savings from supply base employing a suite of eCommerce tools• Drive annual standard cost process and monthly purchase price variances

• Created and implemented the following programs to improve National Account Customer Service: Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Implementation Program, Product Status Reporting, and Lead-time Tracking and Reduction program• Improved wholesale distributor’s service level to an average of 99% and reduced carrying cost by 25+%• Manage inventory replenishment to top revenue wholesale distribution accounts
