For the fall semester of my senior year at Clemson University, I had the opportunity to intern under Hunter Kome, Chief Operating Officer of the Oconee Medical Campus at Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca. With his leadership and guidance, I was able to actively participate in various projects in the hospital. A few projects include the Patient Family Advisory Council (PFAC), a nursing time study, and different data sorting and analysis assignments. Through networking with employees, managers, and leaders within GHS in different departments (patient experience, nursing, health promotion, wellness, and marketing), I received a comprehensive knowledge of a successful healthcare facility.

During the summer of 2018, I had the opportunity to work as a Sales Associate at Vineyard Vines on King Street in Charleston, South Carolina. After training and learning about the Vineyard Vines core values and responsibilities, I worked on weekdays and weekends as an associate. I was able to further develop my customer service, communication, and relational skills throughout my time in Charleston. I assisted on the floor with customers, worked the cash register, conveyed information across the phone to callers, and completed other detail-oriented duties before and after store hours.

As a UPIC Intern, Healthy Campus (Clemson University Student Health Services) offers experiences that include educating students on alcohol and other drugs and collaborating with other interns for projects and presentations. In addition, Healthy Campus researches Clemson's undergraduate population to explore alcohol and other drug usage.

During the summer months at Williamsburg Academy, the opportunity arises to assist children and prepare for the upcoming school year. I tutored several children ranging from 1st to 3rd grade. I encouraged the children during the learning process and helped each student develop basic analytical skills in reading and math.

The Pee Dee Foot Center located Kingstree (expanded to Lake City, South Carolina, and Manning, South Carolina) served populations of the low country through offering podiatry services. As the medical receptionist, I managed the front desk, created and prepared patient files for billing, greeted and scheduled patients, and answered routine calls.
