Flowerama is a flower shop at which I work part-time. My duties include assessing customer needs, taking/making phone orders, computer input, processing and packing orders. A large component of the job entails selecting products that fit customer needs.

I teach a classroom of preschoolers twice a week, using a set curriculum.

When my twins were born, I worked both in the home and outside of the home. When my children turned three, I made the decision to leave my job of 19 years to dedicate more time to my family. It was a hard decision, but important to our life as a family. While I was not officially employed outside the home during that time, I continued to gain new knowledge and skills through the following volunteer opportunities: -Hospitality team leader for Minnesota Mothers of Multiples (MVMOM).-Reading tutor for fifth grade students at Garden View Elementary.-Volunteer teacher for kindergarten through sixth grade at Rosemount United Methodist Church.

I worked full-time securing employment and providing support for individuals with disabilities. In addition to working with clients and employers, I also planned various social events for the company.
