Responsible for the development of best-in-class decoding performance on Cognex ID Products.

Responsible for designing and developing software that solves the core machine vision problems for applications in semiconductor identification and semiconductor measurement using C and C++ programming on an Intel or TI-DSP based computer. Responsibilities include: collecting images of parts that need to be identified; and writing software applications to accomplish the image processing, feature location, defect enhancement, defect verification and measurement, and result correction/calibration.

Conducted research in the area of Pattern Recognition and Machine Intelligence. Researched in image preprocessing techniques for Bank Check Processing System using C and C++ programming. Investigated document image processing (machine vision) algorithms, analysis techniques, and identification techniques.
