My team at Walt Disney Studios services fourteen lines of business, including Marvel, Lucas, Pixar, Disney Live Action, Disney Animation, Disney Theatrical, 20th Century, and Searchlight. We advise on content for 200+ productions, shape people and culture strategies, and build talent pathways into the Studio, including the Disney Launchpad program, where filmmakers from underrepresented backgrounds have the opportunity to create award-winning shorts for Disney+.

Recruited for temporary role as Chief of Staff out of graduate school to support implementation of the strategic plan through research and project management of work teams. Worked with Leadership Team and consultants to develop concept for the Social Change Data Commons, a project that seeks to build a curated data platform for L.A. County’s social needs. Coordinated the EVP/COO’s responsibilities and interfaced with internal departments to make progress toward organizational goals.As a Coro Fellow, had previously wrote proposal for “L.A. Vulnerability Index,” under supervision of COO, to measure regional need and quantitatively evaluate foundation’s impact. This proposal was adopted as part of CCF's ten-year strategic plan. I also developed a strategic plan for a community center serving vulnerable populations in South L.A.

The GAC firm has over a decade of experience working with top-tier nonprofit organizations and public agencies in strategic planning, executive coaching and organizational development. As a consultant, I work with clients in the Los Angeles area on visioning, strategic planning, implementation planning and organizational development.

I completed a semester as an Associate at the GDI Social Enterprise Accelerator for a research project at USC. The Social Enterprise Accelerator aims to increase the scale, reach and impact of selected social enterprises by building their key capacities and long-term strategy. As an associate, I coordinated client portfolio activities, carried out market landscape research, conducted strategic analysis, and worked on client deliverables. I helped build an acceleration plan for International Lifeline Fund, which does sanitation work in Uganda.

The Coro Fellows Program in Public Affairs in Los Angeles is a nine-month, full-time experience-based fellowship focused on understanding how to be effective leaders and problem solvers in an ever-changing, complex society. Fellows complete high-level government, labor, business, and nonprofit placements across Southern California. Projects included: Selected for prestigious leadership program that develops critical thinking and problem-solving skills; provides experience in government, nonprofit, business, labor and media sectors. Highlights include:- California Speaker of the Assembly Office.Analyzed AB 32, a bill to expand state’s tax credit program, and presented analysis to CA Department of Insurance and staffers of Speaker's District and L.A. offices; carried out demographic analysis of Muslim-American populations in California with statisticians from the Statewide Database using Census data.- Hollywood Business Improvement DistrictInventoried underutilized properties in Business Improvement District to attract investmentand establish economic development plan.- Education Credit Management CorporationCreated strategic framework for ECMC Foundation with recommendations on mission,governance structure, and investment of $500 million in education.

- Planned candidate forum for the 2013 LA mayoral race; attended by more than 900 communitymembers and nearly 50 community-based organizations.- Conducted mobile health enrollment workshops for Covered California with underserved populations; registered hundreds of first-time insured individuals.- Organized South L.A. schools around LAUSD budget cuts; planned townhall with City Council, Police chief and Education Board.

- Directed Mentors for Academic and Peer Support (MAPS), a youth mentorship program for low-income inner-city students; services include tutoring, college application advice, and field trips.- Managed 10 staff members and 20-plus volunteers; oversaw daily services at three sites, ran weekly staff trainings, and built quarterly curricula for the students.
