I develop event calendars for assisted living, independent living, and Alzheimer's care residents that provide ample opportunities for spiritual, physical, intellectual, cultural and social interactions to promote personal growth. These events are designed to benefit the clientele and demonstrate that life can still be fulfilling in the golden years. My responsibilities also include team and departmental management opportunities, such as hiring, coaching, scheduling, and evaluating associates. Hiring stellar teammates to assist me in enhancing the quality of our services is of the utmost importance and something I take very seriously, keeping the need of our residents and their loved ones firmly in mind. In addition, I maintain budgets, complete action plans, participate in associate training, and engage in inter-departmental cooperation to the benefit of the community.

As the first face seen by family members and guests upon entering our skilled care retirement home, I was tasked with making each visitor feel welcomed and accomodate their needs. I interacted with the residents, often in recreational activities that inspired my current occupation. Administratively, I completed reports for multiple departments, directed mail and other communications, developed the newsletter, received all phone calls, created and maintained computer databases, and completed multiple other tasks as assigned.
