Launched the first retail-focused line of business for the iconic Highlights brand – including two separate book imprints (Highlights Press and Highlights Learning), a proprietary product development program, and a line of licensed products (toys, games, stationery, activity formats, bedding). P&L ownership with oversight of sales, marketing, operations, and product development. Achieved ambitious sales and market share goals, evidenced by consistently strong YOY growth, category bestsellers (Hidden Pictures Farm), and award-winning product/format innovation.

Oversaw editorial and product development teams for eight subscription clubs (print + digital) and five award-winning book imprints. Relaunched the bestselling Which Way USA club with new character sets and an integrated print/digital experience. Created Let's Grow, a baby subscription box featuring original books and developmentally appropriate toys. Trade imprint (Boyds Mills Press) awards include Sibert Medal and Honor, Coretta Scott King Honors, Boston Globe Horn Book Honor, and ALA Notables, among others.

Oversaw product development teams in two locations for Direct-to-Consumer and Scholastic Book Clubs product development. Created and developed subscription programs featuring major brands, including: Disney, Disney Princess, Disney Collectible Ornaments, Baby Einstein, Dr. Seuss, VeggieTales, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Pokémon, Managed relationships with key licensing partners, negotiated terms and managed partner approvals. Served as brand spokesperson on QVC, successfully “selling out” in key time slots.
