My primary focus is on neurodegenerative diseases, neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroimaging and gene therapy. With over a decade of experience, I have led multiple research projects focusing on neurological disorders, collaborating with global institutions, and contributing to groundbreaking discoveries.My journey has spanned multiple prestigious research centers, including renowned research centers at the Tehran University of Medical Sciences and Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, where I have played a key role in the first PERSIAN Birth Cohort study and the national registry for patients with spinal muscular atrophy in Iran. At NeuroTRACT, as a senior researcher and mentor, I have guided several teams in neuroimaging and neuroscience, focusing on large-scale datasets like the Alzheimer’s Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) and Leipzig Mind-Brain-Body (LEMON). As a postdoctoral researcher at the Gene Therapy Research Center, my work involves pioneering gene therapy solutions, exploring AAV vector distribution, and mentoring young researchers.My skill set includes advanced wet and dry lab techniques.
