Manage and lead the estimating department. Train new estimating team members. Review bid documents, analyze engineering and landscape plans. Utilize takeoff software as well as pre-construction bid management and database software. Inter-relate with customers and suppliers in order to provide landscape, irrigation, hardscape and retaining wall estimates to commercial customers including private and non-for-profit institutions. Negotiate contracts, review and process incoming contracts. Create and submit change order requests to general contractors. Receive and process incoming change orders. Work closely with projects managers and other office personnel to coordinate current projects and in order to assist general contractors before, during and after project installation.
