Establish, plan and organize revenue cycle business operations across the NSLIJ - Medical Group and Ambulatory Services. Facilitate solution driven process improvement initiatives across Service Lines to maximize operations while enhancing the patient experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Maintain and support the enterprise suite of HIS applications to include Soarian Scheduling/Financials and GECB, develop and monitor strategic plans, policies and standards to enhance front-end patient access operations through monitoring of key performance/operations indicators; collaborate with Service Line and Revenue Cycle Leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline workflows to optimize performance and productivity; directs the analysis, monitoring and communication of operational performance and trends to Medical Group Leadership and coordinate the transition of newly on-boarded physicians joining the Health System.

Patient Access lead for Project Access, that NSLIJ Health System developed to transform and standardize the business processes and technology supporting the patient administrative processes for the entire enterprise, including the hospitals and medical group. Responsible for maintaining the core vision of enhancing the patient experience, engaging the physician community and facilitate access and movement across the continuum of services.

Responsible for the operational management of the Insurance Verification and Pre-registration functions incorporating 11 hospitals within the Health System into one centralized CBO, Developed performance metrics; customized quality reviews to monitor staff performance; monitored denial trends; data planning; developing goals and objectives and desired outcomes of the department; and partnered with Patient Access/Service Line Leadership to foster communication and accountability between the CBO and their respective departments.
