On June 1, 2019 I began work as an attorney at Jones, McGlasson & Siefers in Bloomington, Indiana.On December 31, 2023 I will be retiring from the practice of law and I end on a high note with the attorneys and staff at Jones McGlasson & Siefers.Prior to that time, I was the director of special projects and section-committee liaison at the Indiana State Bar Association for nine years and as such was the liaison for 26 substantive law sections. In that position I developed and coordinated project development in those sections. Additionally, I was involved in developing a new mentoring program for attorneys that is a national ABA award winner. Responsible for developing a program with Butler University for lawyers on Business Education for lawyers. My strengths lie in putting people and resources together for very creative projects. I am able to manage and coordinate staff and resources as a collaborative team player for project development and management.I was a practicing attorney in a general practice for 19 years prior position. During that time I also was an adjunct professor in the area of Paralegal Studies at Ivy Tech and through that position developed courses. I am also a registered family mediator. Prior to practicing law, I received my master's degree in counseling and child development and taught at Purdue and Texas Tech in those areas. and worked with undergraduate students in helping them prepare for careers.Prior to that experience, I was an elementary teacher and received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska.
