Led design and development for the user interface of Adobe’s cloud infrastructure platform. Facilitated UI work among 40+ backend and systems developers with limited frontend experience. Developed a design system to enable contributions and empower developers to create user experiences.I also mentored through Girls Who Code, the Grace Institute, and Adobe’s University Talent Team.

I was brought onto the Audience Science team at Viacom to build out an application to allow marketing teams within Viacom to dynamically explore audience data online at science.viacom.com. The team was primarily data scientists and I was the first web development hire. During my time on the team, I built out the MVP into a fully functioning set of applications that use d3.js to visualize enormous sets of data. I also completed a homepage redesign-- from concept to completion-- to attract more users to the platform and give them a clear call to action. The other side of my role was working with the data scientists on my team to educate them on web technologies and to brainstorm about how together we could enhance the visibility of data science as a tool within Viacom. We published data-related stories on our web platform to build interest.

I came to Cosgrove at a time of transition, as their business quickly shifted from primarily direct mail work to over 70% of the business being digital. I led a team of designers and developers to create emails, microsites, landing pages, and web applications for clients like Visa, NFL, Chase, and Apple.Because the agency had traditionally relied on print work, their work and processes needed to be updated. I introduced the team to git and Github for version control, a move that dramatically increased collaboration within the team and with our clients’ third party vendors.

Managed client side development of brand’s ecommerce website and designed and executed web marketing materials, from emails to microsites. Led the creation of its one page checkout (using Spree), simplifying the process from 5 separate pages and reducing the amount of time required to check out by over 50%.
