She also served as the Vice Chair & Treasurer of the Board of Directors and was on the founding team for the Thames River Innovation Place (TRIP) in Southeastern CT.Prior to founding Rooke & Associates, Mary Anne held leadership positions in multiple industries ranging from start-up ventures to Fortune 500 companies in both publicly owned & privately held sectors. Mary Anne has served on boards & commissions in the San Francisco Bay Area & CT. Previously in CT, Mary Anne worked as an Executive-in-Residence for CT Innovations & as the Executive Director of UConn’s Technology Incubation Program (TIP) located on 3 campuses – Storrs, Farmington & Avery Point and Executive Director of Crossroads Venture Group (CVG) - CT's Investor, Entrepreneur & Resource Network. Through her management consulting, angel investor & startup activities, Mary Anne has worked closely in & with the entrepreneurial communities on both the east & west coasts of the US. She is a mentor & advisor with Techstars, Yale Entrepreneurial Institute (YEI), Fairfield University's Startup Showcase & tech startups at UConn, Quinnipiac University & CTNext ecosystem.
