Responsible for managing a the annual portfolio budget for a large-scale suite of Healthcare IT products, processing ~1M critical transactions daily. Accountable for project prioritization, capacity and infrastructure planning, balanced portfolio mix, and monthly results reporting to the senior executive team. Part of a PMO leadership team that ensured 2013 roadmap delivery was 98% on time and $0.9M under budget. Drove the automation of the agile portfolio management process to provide real-time alignment between development team activities and business goals.

Managed the cross-functional leadership team that launched the company’s Care360 EHR (electronic health records) solution, accomplishing the following: utilized an agile development framework to achieve Stage 1 Meaningful Use Certification on a tight timeline; achieved a top 10 KLAS ranking for customer satisfaction out of 1,000 vendors in an extremely competitive market; produced a technical solution that was named #1 EHR for Single Physician Practices by Black Book Rankings. The solution also ranked 29th out of the top 100 EHRs in Medical Economics magazine.

Defined the Scrum Master role and helped lead the organizational transition from waterfall to agile development.Directed the launch the company’s first pharmaceutical licensing information system. The Kentucky Board of Pharmacy now performs paperless inspections, reducing supply costs and making site visits more effective. Managed the agile design and deployment of four integrated .Net licensing applications for the Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning. The agency gained efficiency through process automation and expedited communications between user groups via automated emails, shared notes and activity logging. Led the conversion of a legacy childcare licensing system for Florida Department of Early Care and Learning. Delivered a more sophisticated relational data structure and process wizards to minimize data entry errors.

Prepared the Best Buy Reward Zone pilot for national launch. This very effective program increased spending among loyal customers by an average of 33%.Managed the $5M Exxonmobil data warehouse, containing records for over one million active customers, updated daily from 1,600 point of sale systems. Participated in the development and implementation of programs that used this data to increase customer loyalty and retention.

Managed $1M annual budget, multiple agencies and in-house staff to produce electronic sales tools, marketing collateral, press releases, training sessions and trade shows for a leading telecommunications industry supplier. Marketing Communications lead for a Sales and Marketing team that increased sales by 36% in 1999 and 41% in 2000. Appointed to Newton’s E-business Strategic Planning Team to author E-business marketing plan.

Streamlined Oracle database of over 5,000 contacts, improving the efficiency of storage and retrieval of information. Created ISO 9000 process maps and work instructions for multiple positions, contributing to the initial certification of this AT&T business unit.
