Today, one in three children in the United States is diagnosed with diabetes or pre-diabetes. The economic burden of managing diabetes has soared to $4.3 trillion annually, surpassing the US military budget by five times. With diabetes now affecting 60% of the population—up from just 6% in the 1970s—the need for rapid response and innovative solutions has never been more urgent.In response to this unprecedented surge, I authored and developed a comprehensive library of materials for all departments in this 501c3, including proposals, overviews, and marketing collateral. These resources effectively communicate the full scope of the organization’s work, from their programs and services to the organization’s proprietary EMR application used globally.Since June, I have expanded this organization's donor portfolio, driving viable avenues for financial support. I have leveraged my expertise in rebranding, brand development, and website creation, collaborating closely with a design agency to reimagine the organization’s identity. A priority, this rebranding initiative focuses on realigning their voice, visual identity, and values to better reflect their mission and impact.

After many years, I returned to Omaha, Nebraska - and the Joslyn, where I had worked for three years while in college. In my role as director of development, I served on the executive team and worked closely with the board of governors. I lead the development team’s innovative and strategic operational planning for all museum development activities to include a community campaign, new membership promotions, and pre/post opening fundraising events. My team stewarded targets, timelines, and goals for $100M+ capital campaign for institutional expansion while securing annual funding during institutional closure. In an ongoing effort to increase and expand revenue streams, I redesigned portfolios, streamlined work processes, created new roles, and hired for those positions. My career skills in marketing and branding were employed while collaborating with Pentagram and senior staff in institutional rebranding for look/tone/feel for new museum.

I provided leadership in identifying funding sources to support all museum initiatives related to 60M capital campaign, annual exhibitions, ongoing education and community programs, and overall institutional growth. I actively increased corporate institutional donors and built and stewarded fundraising portfolios and timelines (local, statewide, and national corporations, foundations, and individuals). I maintained a high-touch connectivity schedule with corporate/foundation/government/individual donors. I authored and implemented revised planned giving and corporate membership programs to include strategic initiatives, web presence, and collateral materials.

By executive order of Governor Sandoval, along with the State Planning Commission, I initiated and established all business systems to produce a statewide, 365-day celebration for Nevada's sesquicentennial. I developed fundraising strategies, targets, and policies for the yearlong event; managed all business activities; interviewed agencies for brand development; directed the build-out of the organizational website; and forged new partnerships with donors and stakeholders.

I directed organization-wide strategic programming and fundraising plans to include all corporate, individual, and foundation initiatives. I expanded the organization's portfolio of donors; directed all outreach programs; maintained four organizational websites; oversaw all marketing and communications; and tracked program metrics for government and foundation reporting.

Responding to consumer travel market trends, I took a strategic lead role developing new sales and marketing programs for the RSCVA. My market research informed the agency's strategic plan and re-branding process, accurately representing the breadth of destination experiences available to visitors. I pioneered revenue producing marketing plans for emerging markets, managed the community event sponsorship program, and directed two visitor centers and call center with a staff of 25+.
