My passion for organization and attention to detail often drives people crazy, though always found to be appreciated or in many cases needed. I love numbers and spreadsheets, and enjoy working with budgets, expenses and balancing accounts. With a strong curiosity and being self-motivated, I learn how things work and find solutions to problems. I strive for structure and consistency, making sure all the T’s are crossed and I’s dotted, while also being flexible, adaptable, and dynamic. I am honest to the core and once told it was extremely rare to find someone like me who is more interested in doing things right than doing exactly what was asked of them.Roles where I thrive are diverse and cross-functional, where I can leverage my strong interpersonal skills and broad experiences to impact the business and the people I am working with. I easily build trust and foster relationships thanks to my strong emotional intelligence and desire to share and collaborate. My successes have come from helping organizations run more efficiently and teams working better together. Teammates often describe me as being the glue that holds the team together and a valuable resource.During my careers at a public financial institution and a private technology firm, I gained a wide knowledge base and diverse skill set working in and across all functions within the companies, including sales, operations, finance, legal, facilities, and systems. As a quick learner and with transferable skills, I am a valuable asset for any organization.

Executive AssistantIntellectual Ventures Aug 2009 - Jul 2015As an Executive Assistant for Global Licensing team, I performed administrative duties along with project and business operations. My role at Intellectual Ventures started as a temporary contractor to provide administrative support to the expanding licensing team. At the end of the temp assignment, I was offered a full-time position as an Executive Assistant to one of the newly hired executives. Even though it meant a step back in my career and salary, I saw an opportunity where I could apply my skills and expand my role as the business and team continued to grow. Over the next 6 years, I supported numerous VPs, Licensing Executives, Directors, Senior Managers and team members. In addition to administrative duties, I also generated regular reporting for management and executives, collected and compiled data and materials for customer and investor meetings, acted as liaison with business partners and corporate functions to provide critical data and updates, and developed various tools for tracking and monitoring licensing activities, including initial launch of Salesforce.com within company. Even though each of my managers insisted I retain the Executive Assistant title, I was performing duties above and beyond, from sales support, operations, business development, system implementation, and reporting and analysis. -
