In the mid-80s when I first started working as a court translator, attorneys could not advertise their services. When the law changed, I recognized the opportunity to connect injured individuals with qualified attorneys and started Walker Advertising to do just that. First in the market, Walker Advertising -- through its leading brands, Los Defensores and The Defenders at 1-800-Law2 -- today holds the largest industry market share in the U.S.While remaining an active Board Member of Walker Advertising, I sold the company and founded WH Legal to specialize in the direct marketing referral for mass tort cases, including Pharmaceutical, Birth Injury and Birth Defects, and Mesothelioma. Throughout my career I have been committed to workers’ rights and the role the U.S. plays in shaping economies and policies worldwide, especially in Latin America. As part of this dedication, I serve on multiple Latin American-focused think tanks, including the Pacific Council’s Mexico Initiative (as VP), Atlantic Council (Advisory Board Member) and the Wilson Center’s Latin American Program in Washington D.C.,Today more than ever I believe it is only with a Democrat as President that we can effect sustainable positive change globally. That is why I am proud to fund raise for and serve on the Latino Leaders Coalition for Biden 2020.
