I have been successfully employed in the non profit and educational sector as a mentorship coach, instructor, career counsellor, professional workshop developer and facilitator.I am qualified to administer and interpret Myers Briggs, Personality Dimensions, CAPS/COPS and other B type testing. When career counselling, I use a "solution-focused "approach and inspires individuals to recognize their own strengths and abilities. I have earned certificates in Solution-Focused Counselling, Human Resources, and Training and Development from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor’s degree from Ryerson University and a Master of Science degree M.Sc. (Education) from New York State. In addition, I have co-facilitated at The Ontario School Counsellors’ Association conference and facilitated workshops at Sheridan College. I have taught internationally trained adult newcomers communication skills and have volunteered in both Halton and in Peel Region. I am a member of the Canadian Career Professionals of Canada.My personal interests include learning positive psychology, mental health, fitness and volunteering for the United Way or a good cause within the community.
