Through abundant hands-on work experience and graduation from Teachers College, Columbia University with two masters degrees (Ed.M. and M.A.) in counseling psychology, I have culminated an interpersonal skill set and an empathetic perspective which I leverage to be a positive change agent in the lives of the people I serve. This ever-present paradigm assisted me in my role at AYFS. In my past work in recreational therapy and as a health and wellness specialist, I have developed a passion to improve the quality of life for anyone I come alongside to work with. I am passionate about social equity and equality for people with disabilities.
